Election 2015: How confidence-and-supply can work

A familiar refrain in this election campaign from politicians is that they are campaigning for an overall majority, but the polls indicate another hung parliament is more likely.

With the parties having ruled out various coalitions, Daily Politics reporter Ellie Price looked at the prospect of a confidence and supply arrangement, with cross bench peer Peter Hennessy, and Darren Hughes from the Electoral Reform Society.

And she used building bricks to look at how such an arrangement could lead lead to a successful, or unstable, government.
