Pippa Bartolotti says the Greens are attracting support from all parties

The leader of the Green Party in Wales has claimed people are "sick to death" of the mainstream political parties and are turning to them in growing numbers.

Pippa Bartolotti told BBC Radio Wales the Greens were picking up support from Labour, Lib Dem and Conservative voters, and people who had never voted.

Green opposition to NHS privatisation and the renewal of the Trident nuclear deterrent attracted them, she said.

Plans to renationalise the railways were also popular, she added.
