Essex pop singer Jessie J has won the Brit Awards' Critics' Choice prize for the artist most likely to break through next year.
She was chosen by a panel of more than 100 newspaper, magazine and website editors and TV and radio producers.
Jessie J, whose debut single Do It Like a Dude reached number 25 in the UK chart, will receive her statuette at the Brit Awards ceremony in February.
Dubstep producer James Blake and rock band The Vaccines were also nominated.
All three are also on the 15-strong longlist for the BBC Sound of 2011, which was unveiled earlier this month.
The Sound of 2011 list was compiled by asking more than 160 critics, DJs, bloggers and other tastemakers to name their favourite new acts.
The winner and top five will be revealed in early January.
