Oscars 2012: Stars arrive
Stars of the silver screen are walking down the red carpet for the 2012 Oscars. This is Berenice Bejo, best supporting actress nominee for her role in The Artist, and her husband Michel Hazanavicius, a best director nominee for the same film.
Actress Glenn Close, a best actress nominee for Albert Nobbs, is wearing a midnight green Zac Posen dress with matching tuxedo jacket.
Viola Davis is nominated for best actress for her role in The Help. She wore a simple, emerald Vera Wang dress and - unusually for her - decided not to wear a wig to the event.
Michelle Williams, star of My Week With Marilyn, is also up for best actress. She is wearing a red Louis Vuitton dress with peplum detail.
Jessica Chastain, best supporting actress nominee for her role in The Help, wearing a dress by McQueen.
