Two albums by The Bee Gees have entered the UK Top 40 album chart, a week after singer Robin Gibb's death.

The compilation album, Number Ones, was the highest re-entry in the UK Official Album chart at number five.

Ultimate Bee Gees, which was released to coincide with the band's 50th anniversary in 2009, reappeared at number 35.

Robin Gibb died on Sunday, 20 May, after losing his battle with cancer. He was 62.

In the singles chart, American indie-pop trio Fun. repeated their US chart success by moving up one place to number one with We Are Young.

Featuring Janelle Monae, the New Yorkers' smash hit held off competition from British boyband, The Wanted, whose new single Chasing The Sun debuted at number two.

We Are Young claimed the top spot in its seventh week on the chart, despite having dropped to number five a fortnight ago.

Fun. (the full stop is part of their name) are also celebrating top ten album success with Some Nights, which debuted at number seven.

In a relatively quiet week for new releases, Emile Sande reclaimed the number one album with her debut, Our Version of Events; while US rocker Joe Bonamassa entered at number two with Driving Towards The Daylight.

Other new entries included US blues-rock singer John Mayer, whose album Born and Raised charted at number four; and Sir Tom Jones who debuted at number seven with his new album Spirit In The Room, which features covers of songs by the likes of Blind Willie Johnson and Sir Paul McCartney.

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepson remained at number three, while 21-year-old Rita Ora and former estate agent Alex Clare dropped to number four and number five respectively.

Paloma Faith scored her first top ten single with Picking Up The Pieces which went in at number seven.
