Ronnie Barker's limerick rewrites

A book of Edward Lear's poems has been discovered - and its previous owner was Ronnie Barker. It seemed he didn't think the originals were as good as they could be - and gave them alternative endings.

Author and former children's laureate Michael Rosen, a big Edward Lear and limerick fan, told The World At One's Martha Kearney about the Barker rewrites.
