BBC director general bids farewell to Bush House

After more than 70 years based in London's Bush House, the BBC World Service is moving.

Its journalists are relocating to a new building in the city centre along with the rest of BBC News.

The final bulletin was broadcast at 1200 BST (1100GMT) on Thursday and lasted just five minutes.

The BBC's outgoing director general Mark Thompson recorded a special despatch for the broadcast, paying tribute to Bush House and its heritage.
