Double Brit winner Emeli Sande could be in line for further accolades, having been nominated for two prizes at next month's Ivor Novello awards.
The 26-year-old's Next To Me track is nominated for the best song musically and lyrically award and is also up for the most performed work prize.
Rapper Plan B and Mercury Prize winners Alt-J are also cited in two categories.
The 58th Ivor Novello awards will be presented at the Grosvenor House hotel in central London on 16 May.
Plan B's Ill Manors is up for best contemporary song, while the like-named film in which it appears, which he directed, is nominated for best original film score.
Indie rockers Alt-J are also up for the contemporary song prize, for the track Fitzpleasure, while their debut disc An Awesome Wave is shortlisted for best album.
Ben Howard's Every Kingdom and Lianne La Havas's Is Your Love Big Enough? are the other nominees in the latter category.
Sande's competition for best song musically and lyrically comes from Bat for Lashes' Laura and Jake Bugg's Two Fingers.
Other nominees this year include Olly Murs and Coldplay, who are both up for most performed work with Dance With Me Tonight and Paradise respectively.
Presented by Basca (the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors) in association with the Performing Right Society (PRS), the annual awards celebrate British and Irish songwriting and composing.
The event will also see prizes presented for songwriter of the year, outstanding song collection and outstanding achievement.
Sande's Next To Me was the third most played pop song of 2012, according to data released this week by the UK music licensing company PPL.
The Scottish singer's Our Version of Events was the best-selling album in the UK last year.
