Helmet-wearing French disco duo Daft Punk were among the big winners at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The pair (back) were joined by an all-star band of Nile Rodgers (left), Stevie Wonder (centre) and Pharrell Williams to perform at the ceremony.
Sir Paul McCartney, who won two prizes, was joined by his former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr for his song Queenie Eye - the first time the pair have performed together since 2010.
Madonna turned up on the red carpet with her son David.
She later joined Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and Queen Latifah for a segment that saw 33 couples take part in a mass wedding.

Pink, who was nominated for the song of the year for Just Give Me a Reason, gave an acrobatic performance.
Husband-and-wife superstars Beyonce and Jay-Z opened the ceremony before Beyonce received a helping hand with her dress in the press room.
The Grammys are known for their unlikely on-stage collaborations, and this year they included pianist Lang Lang teaming up with heavy rock giants Metallica.
Katy Perry, whose nominations included song of the year and best pop solo performance, sang Dark Horse in an eerie forest set.
US band Imagine Dragons beat the likes of David Bowie and Led Zeppelin to win best rock performance. They also teamed up with rapper Kendrick Lamar (left) to perform at the event.
Newcomer Kacey Musgraves was the big winner in the country categories, eclipsing stars like Taylor Swift and Blake Shelton to scoop best country album and song.
Rock veterans Black Sabbath were rewarded for their recent reunion, winning best metal performance for the song God Is Dead?
Robin Thicke (centre) sang with 1970s rockers Chicago during the ceremony. Thicke had three nominations for his hit Blurred Lines, but went home empty-handed.
US singer Sara Bareilles was among the nominees for album of the year, but lost out in that category to Daft Punk.
