Ellie Goulding features in two of the five nominees for the newly resurrected Brit award for best British video.

The 27-year-old is shortlisted for the promos for UK number one Burn and I Need Your Love, her collaboration with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

John Newman's Love Me Again, La La La by Naughty Boy featuring Sam Smith and One Direction's global smash Best Song Ever are also up for the prize.

The winner will be decided on the night by fans using social media.

The live vote on Twitter will open when the Brit Awards show kicks off on 19 February.

The best British video prize has not been presented since 2002, when it was won by So Solid Crew's 21 Seconds.

The shortlist for the award is based on official YouTube views.

Burn, I Need Your Love, Love Me Again and La La La are also among the 10 contenders for the Brits' British single award.

One Direction are also shortlisted in that category for One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks), their Comic Relief charity single.
