The stars of the past year's biggest films and TV shows were honoured at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.
Julianne Moore took the top female acting prize for her portrayal of a woman with early onset Alzheimer's disease in the film Still Alice, while British actor Eddie Redmayne won outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role. He plays Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.
The cast of Birdman were all winners - after being awarded the prize for best ensemble cast. The film's stars Michael Keaton, Naomi Watts, Emma Stone, Zach Galifianakis, Amy Ryan and Edward Norton. Watts gave her fellow cast members a shock when she tripped up on Stone's dress, but managed to save herself from taking a tumble off stage.
The evening's supporting actor prizes went to Whiplash star JK Simmons and Patricia Arquette, seen here with her Boyhood co-star Ethan Hawke.
Debbie Reynolds posed backstage after being honoured with the lifetime achievement award, presented by her daughter Carrie Fisher.
The cast of hit British show Downton Abbey won outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series. Stars Phyllis Logan, Allen Leech, Sophie McShera, Laura Carmichael, and Joanne Froggatt collected the trophy.
The stars of Orange is the New Black were also rewarded for their performances, picking up the prize for ensemble cast in a comedy.
OITNB star Uzo Aduba was shocked to be handed her award for playing Suzanne, otherwise known as Crazy Eyes - beating the likes of Amy Poelher and Edie Falco. She was handed the award by Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston.
Viola Davis and Frances McDormand were also winners on the night, both for their recent television roles. Davis stars in crime series How to Get Away with Murder, while McDormand won for her role in two-partner Olive Kitteridge.
Spotted catching up at the party afterwards were nominees Maggie Gyllenhaal (BBC drama The Honourable Woman) and Rosumund Pike (Gone Girl) and Keira Knightley (The Imitation Game) and Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything).
