The glitz and the glamour of the Oscars is almost upon us, but what is it really like to walk along the famous red carpet?
In this interactive video, entertainment correspondent Tim Masters gives a unique insight into the hustle and bustle that Hollywood's finest face as they leave their limousines and walk towards the Dolby Theatre.
Taken just hours before the ceremony in 2012, he battles camera crews from around the world and avoids the trail of designer dresses as he works his way through the crowds.
