@AnyaBartz told us she tried to make a "Jurassic Park" cake but instead ended up with this mess.
The Great British Bake Off returns to BBC One in the UK tonight.
The hit show has inspired a nation of cooks, chefs and, of course, bakers to show off their skills - good and bad - here are some of the bad.

What do you think Annie, who tweets @varrallini, was trying to create? She says it was a hedgehog.... we're not too sure!

This is supposed to be a princess castle according to Joanne from Surrey. The operative word is "supposed".

Elham Rizi-Shorvon says this volcano cake had a bit of an "oopsie" but still tasted great. We believe you Elham...

For some people double chocolate cake at Christmas is a thing of beauty. In this instance, @laurenjiggins, that didn't quite happen.

Is this rabbit-like creature the stuff of nightmares or delicious dreams? Rory Deighton knows far better than we do.

@realscotveg said they wish to warn others of the hidden dangers associated with gingerbread. Consider yourself warned.

This was the second time Nina from London had made this cake. It contains chocolate and Guinness. She says that once it was iced, she was able to fix it, we hope so.
