Great British Bake Off: Who could replace Mel and Sue?

Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins have confirmed they will not co-host The Great British Bake Off when it moves to Channel 4, prompting a whirl of speculation as to who might replace them.
Bookmakers William Hill have made Jo Brand odds-on favourite to succeed them. The comedian already hosts Bake Off's BBC Two spin-off show, An Extra Slice.
Other comics who could get the call include Absolutely Fabulous creator Jennifer Saunders, who appeared in the Comic Relief version of Bake Off in 2015, and Sarah Millican. William Hill has them at 8/1 and 12/1 respectively.
Comedian Ed Byrne, who competed in the 2013 edition of The Great Comic Relief Bake Off, is another possible according to the bookmaker, as is Davina McCall of Big Brother fame. William Hill has both of them at 16/1.
Omid Djalili and Rhod Gilbert are among the other comedians whose names have been mentioned.
Clare Balding, Alex Jones and Helen Skelton are among the TV presenters who have been cited as potential replacements.
But it is probably not worth taking a punt on Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who ruled themselves out of the running on Wednesday's This Morning.
