Your pictures: Concrete

Every week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme was concrete and we start with a photograph taken by Mirjam van Sabben, from New Zealand, of the Devonport bunkers in Auckland.

Sofia Graves: "I took this picture of a sidewalk in Niagara on the lake, clearly a squirrel had not noticed the wet concrete!"

Liz Iles: "This is a staircase made from concrete in an architect's practice in London. I love the simplicity of the material."

Daniel Furon: "The Bulb is an artificial peninsula in San Francisco bay, filled years after years with crushed scraps of demolished concrete buildings - taken over by nature and artists."

Anna Mair: "The concrete core of a new luxury apartment block being built in London, framed by the concrete of the Barbican and the glass and steel of the newer buildings surrounding it. "

Yasir Hasan: "Cry for Help! A statue made out of concrete and black cement."

Frederik van Lambalgen: "A clean, fresh concrete floor."

Ryan Davies; "Big waves hit the pier at Aberystwyth, Wales."

Heather Watkins: "My silhouette on concrete paving slabs at the end of my garden in Bracknell, UK. I spend way too much time in the garden with my camera, but rarely capture myself!"

And finally, Corey Newton sent in this picture of Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Next week the theme is Blue skies. If you'd like to enter, send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. Further details and terms can be found by following the link below this gallery.
