The ancient Hindu festival of Diwali - the "festival of lights" - is being celebrated around the world.
The annual celebration is marked with lights, colour and, not least, food.
You have been sharing your pictures of Diwali celebrations. Here is a selection below.
Javier Cruz took this picture of his "first Diwali" in Hong Kong. "This was taken during a private ceremony in Hong Kong to bless the office and the business," he wrote. "Happy #Diwali to everyone, especially my Indian friends," he added on Instagram.
Mandy Misra sent this picture from the "mesmerising" Diwali festival in Assam, India.
Nishani Haripersadh from Johannesburg, South Africa took this picture of her Diwali chocolate cupcakes.
Palka Chopra, in Hong Kong, shared this image of her Diwali "rangoli" - a folk art from India in which patterns are created on the floor.
Subashini Loganathan, above, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, sent this image of her Diwali food, below. "It's the first day of Diwali and it's a tradition to serve the guests with home-made cookies and food," she said.
