After snow caused disruption over the weekend following the arrival of a weather pattern dubbed the "mini beast from the East", England and parts of Wales and Scotland have been warned of ice and further light snow. Here are the latest snow scenes from around the UK.

Thomas Pidden took these photos of disruption when he was stuck on the A30, leading to around 80 motorists seeking refuge overnight at an emergency rest centre in a college in Devon.

Snowploughs cleared the road here on the A30 near Okehampton, which was hit by "significant snow" overnight. Devon and Cornwall Police said road conditions changed "rapidly from passable to impossible".

Some drivers camped in their vehicles at a service station on the A30, which was blocked by heavy snow until it fully reopened in the morning.

Several villages and towns in Devon were cut off. Drifts up to six foot high left some vehicles stranded near Ilfracombe at Mullacott Cross.
