Hello and welcome to our coverage of London Zoo's annual animal weigh-in.

Zoo keepers are beginning the long process of measuring and weighing every animal at the zoo for their annual audit.

From giraffes to giant snails, tigers to tortoises, around 14,000 animals from across the zoo will be jumping on the scales.

Recording their vital statistics helps zookeepers monitor animals' health and wellbeing and will be shared with zoos around the world to help compare information on threatened species.

We'll be bringing you a live stream from the zoo, but won't be providing coverage in text, so please hit the watch live button at the top of this page and enjoy the show.
