The fourth take of the song on the second day of recording is the version that was ultimately released - but Dylan recorded it another 11 times. Read the full story

  5. Lena Dunham on Twitter and future of Girlspublished at 14:50

    Lena DunhamImage source, AP

Girls creator Lena Dunham has revealed she's called it quits with Twitter - or at least given up tweeting for herself - and now gets someone else to post things on the site for her. She says she's had it with the "verbal abuse" and body shaming coming her way on social networking sites.

    Quote Message

I really appreciate that anybody follows me at all, and so I didn't want to cut off my relationship to [Twitter] completely, but it really, truly wasn't a safe space for me.

On the Re/code Decode podcast, external Dunham said a lot of abuse came after she posted a photo of herself on Instagram, wearing a sports bra and her boyfriend's boxer shorts.

    Quote Message

It wasn't a graphic picture. I was wearing men's boxers, and it turned into the most rabid, disgusting debate about women's bodies, and my Instagram page was somehow the hub for misogynists for the afternoon.

    Quote Message

Even if you think, like, 'Oh I can read, like, 10 mentions that say I should be stoned to death and kind of, like, laugh and move on,' that's verbal abuse. Those aren't words that should be directed at you ever.

Meanwhile, Dunham also revealed, external she is likely to wrap up HBO series Girls - shown on Sky Atlantic in the UK - at the end of its sixth season.

    Quote Message

Never say never, but that is the way that we’re thinking about it right now and we’re starting to think about how to wrap up the storylines of these particular young women. I started working on this show when I was 23, and now I’m going to be 30 so it kind of feels right that this show kind of sandwiched my 20s and then I go off into the world.
