Weather on the fells: Staying cloudy, turning dry
Temperature at 3,000ft: Around 12C to 14C (54F to 57F).
Winds: Fresh south-westerly winds in the morning with gusts up to 25mph to 30mph, easing to become moderate later.
Cloud: It will be a largely overcast day throughout, with bases around 300ft to 1,000ft (100m to 300m), rising to 1,000ft to 2,000ft (300m to 600m) later this afternoon.
Weather: Expect a few lingering outbreaks of rain although through the afternoon, it will become dry. It will stay rather cloudy, although cloud may break at times to yield a few brighter spells.
Visibility: Poor in areas of hill fog and any rain, but becoming good below the cloud bases later.
UV levels: Mostly low, perhaps briefly moderate in any bright spells later on.

- Weather: After a few small patches of low cloud and hill fog clear in the early morning, the rest of the day should be dry with plenty of sunshine.
