Police have warned people in Horncastle to be vigilant after a spate of break-ins.
In a community alert issued on behalf of Lincolnshire Police, PSV Chris Ivett said a burglary had taken place in Tupholme on 8 October and a quantity of diesel was stolen overnight.
He went on to say a workshop at Minting was broken into and in a separate incident a shed was also broken into and power equipment was stolen. Both incidents happened on 7 October.
PSV Ivett said suspicious activity was also reported at Poolham, on 7 October which may have indicated that harecoursing had taken place.
