Land at Bransby Horses Rescue and Welfare, near Lincoln, was damaged as a result of heavy rain and led to the charity cancelling all its Christmas events.
Managers set up a "wish-list" on an online shopping website and people have been buying and donating items from that list.
Items include wheelbarrows, brushes, head collars, haynets, creams and bandages.
Jessica Marshall Pierce from Bransby says it's helped the charity a lot.
"We're going through a period of crisis following the flooding and we've had an overwhelming response from people near and far to Lincolnshire and it's making a huge difference on site.
"Our site is so muddy but you can see these sparks of colour where people have been supporting us."
Residents who face losing their homes said they were "delighted to see common sense prevail".
Read MoreThe number of children arrested by Lincolnshire Police has fallen by 61% in the last seven years, the force has revealed.
The figures have been released by the Howard League for Penal Reform and show the force made 745 arrests of children aged 17 and under last year - down from 1,911 in 2011.
Assistant Ch Con Kerrin Wilson said: “This is good news. It shows our effective work with partners is making real positive change for the children we deal with and, ultimately, giving them a chance for the future.
"We have a chance to engage young minds and offer people an alternative, which will hopefully lead them towards making good choices rather than entering the system and committing more and more crimes of escalating severity."
Police say they are concerned for the safety of a 22-year-old Lincolnshire woman who has not been seen since leaving for work this morning.

Residents in Carnoustie Close don't believe children are responsible for the vandalism.
Lincolnshire Police said it was investigating the case.

You only have to look at the damage to realise it isn't children, you need the right equipment to cut through the wires."
