People are now being asked for their views on the proposals for Mablethorpe's Station Sports Centre before they are officially submitted later in the summer.
The plans include a fitness suite and a 25m swimming pool, as well as community and digital learning spaces.
Quote MessageThis a very exciting project and something we know the people of Mablethorpe have been wanting us to bring forward for some time. We know residents were really keen to see a facility that wasn’t just a leisure centre, something that would serve as a hub for the community. Hopefully, we’ve done that justice with these plans."
Councillor Steve Kirk, East Lindsey District Council
The idea of establishing one of Lincolnshire's hospitals as a dedicated coronavirus treatment site is being "closely" examined, one of the county's health bosses has said.
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT), which runs hospitals in Lincoln, Boston and Grantham, is starting routine operations again after their suspension during the height of the outbreak.
But ULHT chief executive Andrew Morgan says it could make routine work easier if Covid-19 patients were kept away from other patients by dedicating one of the trust's sites to their treatment.
Quote MessageWe're looking really closely at that because then you're not impacted by a potential surge of new cases. You can keep on doing cancer work, the diagnostics, the elective surgery. If you keep the staff separate, things can run smoothly."

One of the men who jumped from the landmark Boston Stump church tower last night "landed on his face", according to Lincolnshire Police.
Two men were spotted "base jumping" from the 272ft-high tower at about 23:00 on Tuesday night before deploying parachutes.
Insp Fran Harrod says the stunt is something neither the church nor the emergency services need - especially at the moment - and she adds that their exploits didn't entirely go to plan.
"Clearly trespassing on our historic church while it is in the process of costly renovations is bad enough," she says.
"However, these men could have killed or seriously injured themselves or someone else in the process.
Quote MessageOne landed on his face rather than his feet, and while both fled the scene it could have been so much worse. Our NHS is busy enough as it is."

The world famous Red Arrows have shared a picture of the team practising their skills in the skies above Lincoln Cathedral.
The photo, taken yesterday by Cpl Adam Fletcher, shows the iconic red, blue and white smoke streaming from the back of their distinctive Hawk Jets.
Last month, it was announced the Red Arrows will remain based in Lincolnshire after their current home of RAF Scampton closes.
The aerobatic team - formed in 1964 - will move to RAF Waddington in 2022.

Humberside Police said the driver of the Toyota died at the scene.
A passenger in the Toyota and the driver of the Ranger Rover both suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Staff at Boston Stump say they have no idea how two base jumpers managed to climb the tower before leaping off.
Lincolnshire Police are investigating after the men were seen jumping from St Botolph's at about 23:00 on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the church said they do not know if the men gained access from inside the building or scaled the the 272ft-tall structure from the outside.
Staff at the building say they were alerted to the incident after receiving a call from a witness who saw the men leap off.

Lincolnshire's health bosses say they're confident plans are in place for the reopening of the county’s economy as shops and markets reopen with the easing of coronavirus restrictions.
More businesses have been opening their doors again to customers after a long period of closure due to the pandemic lockdown.
Today, Boston Borough Council is holding its first market in weeks, and next Tuesday West Lindsey District Council will be inviting traders back to their regular events in Gainsborough.
Derek Ward, director of public health at Lincolnshire County Council, said partners in the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum had been planning for months.
He said: "We have a whole stream about recovery purely focused on making sure we get businesses up and running and schools open and do so in a safe and measured way. So I’m confident that we’ve got the infrastructure in place to do that."
However, he added: “Obviously, it comes down to individual behaviours as well. We’ve got to get the economy started I understand that, it’s the same argument in schools – we need to educate children.”
Shoppers have been advised that if they don’t feel comfortable with entering a business due to the number of people or lack of space inside, to consider leaving and coming back again during a quieter period or using alternative methods such as online shopping.
Two men have been spotted base jumping from the top of Boston Stump, police say.
Officers say the men, who were believed to be wearing Go-Pro cameras to film the stunt, were seen leaping from the 272ft (83m) high tower at about 23:00 on Tuesday before fleeing the scene.
Boston Police said on Twitter they wanted to identify the men and said the incident had caused "further cost and inconvenience to renovation efforts".
A number of urgent repairs are being currently carried out at the church, officially know as St Botolph's, as well as the construction of a new education centre.
In 2018 the church was awarded a £1m grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to go towards the cost of the £2.7m project.
An investigation has begun into the cause of a large fire at an industrial plant in North Hykeham.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) were called to the blaze at Specialist Heat Exchangers on Freeman Road at about 15:00 on Tuesday.
At its height, LFRS say there were 10 fire engines in attendance.
