    A 20-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted while walking along a Horsham footpath.

    The attack happened at about 19:00 GMT on Sunday on a path that runs alongside duck ponds between Depot Road and Harwood Road.

    The local woman was attacked from behind by a man who forced her to the ground and sexually assaulted her. She struggled and the man ran off.

    The woman suffered cuts and bruises but did not need hospital treatment, Sussex Police said.

    Police are looking for a white man in his 30s, with rough skin and large hands.

    He was wearing a hooded top with drawstrings from the hood, muddy white trainers, a dark grey scarf and black latex-type gloves.

    Det Con Karen Young said: "The victim was very distressed and we need to identify this man as soon as possible."

    Hasting Pier has won the public vote in the 2017 RIBA Stirling Prize, with 42% of the votes.

    The pier was reopened to the public in April 2016, five-and-a-half years after a devastating fire which caused widespread damage.

    The judges said: "The new pier is not a lonely pier; rather, it is extremely welcoming in its design, with free, open entry to the public."

    The public poll has no bearing on the Stirling Prize which is decided by a panel of judges and announced later today.

    A derelict boat caught fire in Newhaven harbour overnight.

    East Sussex Fire and Rescue sent four fire engines and a Technical Rescue Unit to the scene, a disused pontoon, at about 01:30 GMT.

    It said the 17m (55ft) steel hulled De-Bounty is aground on mud and the Coastguard is dealing with its stability.

    There are no reports of casualties but fire crews are aware of the presence of gas cylinders and diesel.

    Police and ambulance service are also present.

    A pick-your-own farm has been transformed into a "scream park" for Halloween.

    Shocktoberfest at Tulleys Farm in Crawley, West Sussex, has eight horror mazes with 400 character actors who are specially trained to scare the 80,000 visitors.
