It took a long time for it to come but Leicestershire have eventually taken a wicket this afternoon. The last wicket to fall was on the hour mark this morning. And there was nothing until after tea.

Durham were 34-3 when David Bedingham and Sean Dickson got together and put on 231 for the fourth wicket. The partnership was four short of a new record for any wicket for Durham against Leicestershire.

It ended when Dickson went LBW to Ed Barnes for 120. Bedingham has 129 and there are 18 overs left today. The lights have now been turned on though because it has got gloomy so we might not see the full 18 overs.

    Durham are 273-4.
