  1. Ross raises rise in drug deaths in Scotland

    Douglas Ross

    Douglas Ross begins FMQs by raising the issue of drug deaths which he says are Scotland's "national shame".

    It follows the release of estimated figures from the police. Official government figures will be out later in the year.

    "It has emerged that drugs deaths have risen again, up 10% on the previous year," he says.

    He adds that drugs minister Christina McKelvie replied "the plan is working" when asked about the rise.

    "Surely the first minister can't agree with that," he says.
