    Dozens of judges in Ghana are being investigated following the release of a documentary by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

    The film captured the judges on tape allegedly taking bribes. More than 30 judges and 170 judicial officers were implicated in the country's biggest corruption scandal.

    Mr Anas has been speaking to BBC Focus on Africa's Sammy Darko for the first time since the film was released - and he even took off his trademark beaded face veil.

    When two biomedical students in the UK met on their undergraduate degree they were brought together by their shared African heritage. 

    Kiran Yoliswa, whose family is from Zimbabwe, and Alae Ismail, whose family is from Eritrea, scrapped their plans and took a completely different route. 

    "We wanted to start conversations about the great things that are happening in Africa by using fashion and the creative scene," Ms Ismail told the BBC. 

    So they started buying clothes from across Africa and selling them - online first and later in a shop. 

    They told the BBC's Nora Fakim that their target customers are Michelle Obama types - that's "well-established women in corporate settings".

  9. 'We'll give you the interview if the black guy leaves'published at 11:14

    The presenter of the BBC's Newsday radio programme Nkem Ifejika, who is from Nigeria, has been in Poland and attended the Independence Day march in Warsaw. 

    He says in the interview that, as far as he could tell, he was the only person of colour in a crowd of thousands. 

    He was jostled and one man shouted "Sieg Heil" at him. 

    Others refused to talk to him because of his colour.

    Eye Witness news reports stones were thrown by demonstrators and police threw stun grenades at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town.
