  1. Insurance certificate date pushed back

    BBC Radio Jersey

Channel Island drivers heading to Europe will not need an international insurance certificate until 12 April at the earliest.

The documents - which guarantee third-party cover when on the road on the continent - will only be needed if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.

    Cars on ferry

With Brexit initially scheduled for 29 March, drivers might have needed what are known as green cards from this weekend.

Insurance company Rossborough said the changes have now been put on hold, after Britain's departure date was delayed.

If UK MPs support Theresa May's deal, drivers will not need green cards at all.

  2. Weather: Fine and dry, patchy cloud

    BBC Weather

It will be a fine and dry Monday, with sunny spells and only a little patchy cloud at times with light northerly winds.

The night will be dry and chilly with largely clear skies and perhaps a few shallow mist patches.

    Maximum temperature: 9C (48F).
