Education alone - I'm afraid to say - will not solve obesity. We need to work alongside people to create environments which are, by default, healthier than unhealthier. Yes, parents are important, but obesity is everyone's business.

    Quote Message

The importance of looking after and preserving Jersey's environment was a crucial finding of the Future Jersey opinion survey to set our government plan. I don't see that changing. But equally we have to be able to have a sustainable economy. That doesn't mean an economy at any price, it means a sustainable one that we can all live with and one that doesn't destroy the island but also provides for community needs and most important to that is homes for people to live."
