Middle class plea for US politicians to heal the country
It was a long, hard-fought election in the US and now the people of Levittown, Pennsylvania are ready to move on.
The iconic symbol of post-war suburbia, Levittown voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama.
But residents here say the election was too bitter and divisive, and that politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties must work together to help solve the country's problems.
The call for compromise will get its first test as President Obama and Congressional leaders try to reach a budget deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff.
