Riba Stirling Prize 2015: Darbishire Place, Peabody Housing

A new social housing block in Whitechapel, London, has been shortlisted for the 2015 Riba Stirling Prize for architecture. While a select line-up of judges will decide the winner, the BBC, in partnership with the Riba, is inviting you to vote for your favourite.
What is it and where?
Social housing for 13 families, provided by the Peabody Trust to replace a mansion block obliterated by a bomb during World War Two. Designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects, external.
How much did it cost?
£2.3m
What was the vision?
To create a new block which would fit in with the existing Victorian Peabody buildings, while bringing a modern feel to the area.
