Hot Chip plot new album and UK tour

Hot Chip will release their fourth studio album in 2010

Hot Chip have announced details of a new UK tour.

The London quintet will begin a 12-date UK tour on 12 February and conclude with two gigs at London's O2 Brixton Academy on the 26th and 27th.

In a statement on their site they said: "There will be a new album, set for release in early parts of next year.

"We're just completing the finishing touches right now, and we're also gearing up for a return, possibly triumphant, to the live arena, as a UK tour is also in the offing for February."

Those who buy tickets via Hot Chip's site will receive a new track by the band as a free download.
