Dizzee Rascal and Hot Chip head Bestival line-up

Rapper Dizzee Rascal has recently toured in Australia with Lily Allen

Dizzee Rascal leads the first acts to be announced for this year's Bestival festival.

The Flaming Lips, Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem will also appear at the event which takes place on the Isle Of Wight between 9-12 September.

Chase N Status, Ellie Goulding and Hurts are also signed up to play at the Robin Hill Country Park weekender organised by Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank.

Simian Mobile Disco, Tinie Tempah and Rolf Harris are among other artists confirmed.

Last year's event saw appearances from Kraftwerk, Elbow and Lily Allen.

Whilst a fancy dress theme for this year's event has yet to be confirmed tickets are on sale now.
