Rage free gig applications revealed

Organisers of Rage Against The Machine's 'RageFactor' free gig to celebrate last year's Christmas number one have revealed they had 122,215 people apply through their ballot ticketing system.
Fans had four days to apply after the news was announced on Thursday 11 February - applications for passes closed at midnight last night (14 February).
That means almost one in three who wanted to go will be heading along to the 40,000 capacity event held on Sunday 6 June in London's Finsbury Park.
Tickets will be released at 9am this Wednesday (17 February). If people have been successful, they will receive a confirmation email. Fans will then have to apply for their tickets using the registration number provided.
Speaking about the announcement last week the Californian band's guitarist Tom Morello said: "We were very happy that our song was a vehicle for what was truly a grassroots people's revolution.
"It was not so much the band as the people who toppled the X Factor giant - frankly it was a shock wave around the world."
