Kylie Minogue says she's aiming to release her forthcoming 11th album this summer.
The Australian singer has been working on new material with Lady Gaga producer RedOne and other collaborators on the follow-up to 2007's X.
She said: "The album's coming along. I swear it's not for the faint-hearted. We've turned the corner and we're hoping for a summer release.
"You'll put your make-up on to this album and that's not just the girls."
Kylie Minogue attended this week's Brit Awards, which she co-hosted last year with Mathew Horne and James Corden.
The Aussie pop star was there to see Robbie Williams given an outstanding contribution to music award, who she duetted with on the 2000 hit Kids.
She said: "He is made for this award and he's made to be part of the nation's lives and it's nice to have him back because he was away for so long."
