Radio 1's Big Weekend venue confirmed

Pixie Lott is the first act announced for Radio 1's Big Weekend 2010
This year's Radio 1's Big Weekend will be held at Faenol Park in Bangor, north Wales.
The event is the UK's biggest free ticketed music festival and takes place on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May.
Brit-nominated singer Pixie Lott is the first artist to be confirmed for the weekend.
Last year's event took place at Swindon's Lydiard Park and featured appearances from the likes of Lily Allen, Snow Patrol and Kasabian.
Previous Big Weekends have visited Londonderry, Dundee and Sunderland.
Ticket details for the 20,000 capacity per day event are yet to be announced.
Once again there will be four stages at the event featuring artists and Radio 1 DJs.
They are the Main Stage, the In New Music We Trust Stage, BBC Introducing Stage and Outdoor Stage.
Additions to the line-up are expected in the coming weeks.
