Eminem has described Pink as a "rebel", as they duet on a new track

Eminem has described singer Pink as "a rebel" when speaking about a new collaboration, to be included on the rapper's forthcoming seventh album Recovery.

Currently available for fans to hear on the internet, Pink sings on a track called Won't Back Down.

Speaking to Radio 1's Fearne Cotton, Eminem said: "I've always respected what she does.

"When we did the track I heard her on it and knew vocally she'd smash it."

'Special' Rihanna

Rihanna also appears on the album which is due for release on 22 June. She features on a track called Love The Way You Lie.

"The same thing with Rihanna [as Pink]," he said. "It would be more special with her on it."

The rapper joined Cotton to play a two song set for a special Radio 1 Live Lounge, recorded at London's Maida Vale studio.

He played single Not Afraid and his 2000 single Stan (which sampled Dido) which mixed into a cover of Jason Derulo's Forever Means Forever.

He said he was in "fantastic spirits" and said: "I'm definitely in a much better place than I was a few years ago."

Meanwhile, Eminem will make his live return in the UK in July with a headline appearance at T In The Park.

It'll be his first British gig since 2003.

"I'm excited to get back out there and being doing shows period," he said. "It's a rush when you hit the stage."
