American Idol singer Fantasia in hospital after overdose

Former American Idol winner Fantasia is in hospital after taking an overdose of painkillers and sleeping pills.
The singer's manager says she's been "overwhelmed by a recent lawsuit and the attention surrounding her divorce".
In a statement Brian Dickens said: "Last night, Fantasia was hospitalised. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid.
"Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time."
The 26-year-old was named recently in court documents by Paula Cook, who accused Fantasia of having an affair with her husband in the town of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Fantasia won American Idol in 2004 and is due to release her third album, Back to Me, on 24 August.
She was supposed to be doing promotion for the record this week.
The singer's debut single went to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in America and since 2004 she's been nominated for eight Grammy music awards.
She's also starred on Broadway in The Color Purple and a reality show called Fantasia For Real was shown on music channel VH1 earlier this year.
It showed her struggles as a single mother and her attempts to kick-start her career.
