Glastonbury 2011 tickets to go on sale in October
- Published
Tickets for Glastonbury 2011 are to go on sale at 9am on Sunday 3 October.
The festival is going to cost an extra £10 next year. Tickets will be £195 with a £5 booking fee and postage on top of that.
Once again people have to register with Glastonbury before they can buy a ticket. Anyone who has registered for previous years shouldn't have to do it again.
Glastonbury 2011 opens on Wednesday 22 June and runs until Sunday 26 June.
Because people have to book so far in advance, tickets can be secured for just a £50 deposit.
Festival-goers living in the UK will have to pay the rest of the ticket price in the first week of April 2011.
People buying from abroad will have to pay in the last week of February.
Anyone who decides not to pay their balance in 2011 will be refunded their deposit, minus a £10 administration fee.
