It's been two years since 13-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi was discovered on Britain's Got Talent and now he's finally ready to release his debut single.
When he was 12 he sang at Michael Jackson's funeral and was seen by more than a billion people around the world.
He says the Jackson family still keeps in touch with him.
He said: "The last time I saw the Jacksons was at the Mobo awards and they were really nice to me there.
"They were like, 'Let's keep in touch and stuff'. I've met them twice now so it's such an honour and it's kind of wierd how they know my name. It's brilliant."
The Swansea schoolboy managed to record his album in between breaks at school.
"My album is definitely different," he said. "It's not what you hear in the charts today.
"It's kind of new. Hopefully some people will like it. I know I like it but it can appeal to quite a few people.
"I've been recording the album every half-term I get, so I try not to miss any school."
Shaheen has travelled the world and has even met some of entertainment's heavyweights like Stevie Wonder, Larry King, Oprah Winfrey.
He also has a large fan base in the UK, something which he told Newsbeat was fun but strange.
He said: "Sometimes you forget and I'll be walking through town and people shout your name and I think, 'How do they know my name? I don't even know this person'.
"But then you realise, 'Oh yeah' and that's the fun of it I reckon."
Shaheen Jafargholi's debut double A-side single Last Train Home/Hip Teens is out on 22 November.
