Beyonce's mum says rumours that her daughter is pregnant are 'not true'

Beyonce's mum has told chat show host Ellen DeGeneres that her daughter is not expecting her first child with her husband, rapper Jay-Z.

Rumours surfaced again earlier this week after an article appeared in a US magazine, claiming that singer was pregnant.

Tina Knowles told Ellen the rumours about her daughter are not true.

"The truth is that it's not Beyonce that's pregnant it's me," She joked. "I'm kidding. I'm 56.

"No, no. It's not true. Not right now. I'm looking forward to it. With all the rumours by now I should have five or six grandchildren."

Beyonce's people have refused to comment on the story.
