My Chemical Romance have said comments suggesting their forthcoming fourth album could be their last have been "pulled out of context".

Singer Gerard Way was quoted in The Sunday Times as saying their new album "could be our last big adventure".

However, guitarist Mikey Way denied this. He said: "We're in the best spot mentally since the beginning of the band - why would we give up now?"

His brother Gerard Way added: "This is the best part of the career."

The band are set to release Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys on 22 November.

It's the follow-up to their 2006 album The Black Parade.

They chose to debut new material from the album, including new single Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na), at the end of last month with a handful of UK live shows.
