Midnight queues for new Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Published
The latest Call of Duty video game has been released.
Black Ops is set during the Cold War and is expected by many to be the biggest selling game of the year.
Developers Treyarch are likely to make hundreds of millions of pounds so security surrounding its release has been tighter than ever before.
It comes after similarly big titles were leaked earlier this year like Halo: Reach.
Tens of thousands of video game fans queued up at midnight to be among the first to get their hands on a copy.
These were some of the 150 plus outside HMV in Newcastle City Centre last night (8 November).

"I think it's going to be one of the best games out for years.
"I really enjoyed (its predecessor) Modern Warfare 2.
"The game play was excellent, online multiplayer was as well.
"I think it's going to be massive all over the world.
"I mean I can't wait to get back and play it to be honest."
Chris, 18 from Chester le Street
"I think it's going to be really really big and I can't wait to start playing the game.
"I just don't need to sleep from here on in.
"I'm going to try and play it right through to tomorrow night."
Thomas Watson, 26 from Gateshead
"I'm just here for Black Ops. I played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to death.
"We're going to have to wait and see what it's like, see what the multi player is like.
"It's not going to be a let down.
"In fact I'm such a big fan I've got a tattoo of a character from the last game, a zombie general."
Nick, 20 from Jarrow
"I can't wait for it. It's going to be absolutely awesome.
"(Its predecessor) Modern Warfare 2 was absolutely brilliant.
"All the ones before that were brilliant too, this is just going to carry that on.
"It's going to be amazing."
Alex, 26 from Wallsend
"I want to play it as soon as possible. Modern Warfare 2 was absolutely amazing and I'm really looking forward to playing Black Ops.
"I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I've been playing them since the original and to have this new one on the night of the launch is pretty amazing.
"From what I've seen it's going to be pretty awesome, especially the online multiplayer, so I'm looking forward to that as soon as I get my hands on it."
