Take That's Progress is currently the biggest selling album of 2010, having been released in November.
UK performance
The top five selling tracks of 2010 are dominated by international talent with Eminem's song, which peaked at number 2 in the UK singles chart, topping the pile.
However, UK acts have fared better in the albums chart.
Progress, Take That's first album with Robbie Williams in 15 years has spent six weeks at number 1, having sold over 1.5 million copies.
Paolo Nutini's second studio album Sunny Side Up, the fifth biggest seller of the last 12 months, was also the third biggest seller of 2009.
Canadian singer Michael Buble's Crazy Love was the biggest seller of the year until Take That's release, having sold over one million copies.
Martin Talbot, boss of the Official Charts Company, said: "With Matt Cardle, Take That, Susan Boyle and Rihanna all performing incredibly well in the run-up to Christmas, the race to be in the biggest sellers lists for 2010 is shaping up nicely.
"There is a lot of water to go under the bridge - plenty of ground which can be made up yet."
Full end of year lists will be published on Sunday January 2.
