Plan B to open Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks summer gigs

Plan B will play Mallorca on Tuesday 31 May and Ibiza on Wednesday 1 June

Plan B will open this year's series of Ibiza and Mallorca Rocks concerts.

The rapper, who's just been nominated for three Brit awards, will play in Magaluf on 31 May followed by a gig the next night in San Antonio.

Plan B said: "This is going to be fun. I've never been to Ibiza before. I better start working out what I'm going to wear, it's going to be hard to make speedos work with my suit jacket."

This year there will be 17 gigs every week at the two Balearic hotels.

Since its launch in 2005, Ibiza Rocks has seen performances from the likes of The Kooks, Calvin Harris, The Courteeners, Dizzee Rascal and Pendulum.

Biffy Clyro opened the series of concerts last year with Bombay Bicycle Club.
