Florence Welch is to perform at the 2011 Oscars ceremony with Gwyneth Paltrow also confirmed to sing.

The Florence and the Machine singer will be joined by composer AR Rahman for a live version of If I Rise, from the 127 Hours soundtrack.

Actress Paltrow will sing Coming Home from the film Country Strong, with all songs which are up for the Best Song Oscar set to be played on the night.

Mandy Moore will perform I See The Light, from the film Tangled.

Gwyneth Paltrow recorded Coming Home for the Country Strong soundtrack, but If I Rise was originally performed by UK singer Dido for climbing drama 127 Hours.

The other nominated song to be given a live rendition on the night will be Randy Newman's We Belong Together, from Toy Story 3.

Newman is set to perform the song himself.

The 83rd annual Academy Awards will take place in Hollywood on 27 February.
