Mark Ronson hosted his own show after the Brit Awards

Mark Ronson has celebrated the Brit awards alongside guests including Boy George, Wretch 32 and Katy B at an aftershow gig in London.

The singer's 50-minute headline set at the Warchild charity event at Indig02 included a host of invited artists.

Ms Dynamite, Jonathon Pierce from The Drums, MNDR and Kyle Falconer from The View also turned out to perform.

"There are some very special things we're doing tonight that we'll never do again," Ronson told Newsbeat.

'Special night'

The set included tracks such as Bang Bang Bang, Somebody To Love Me, Just and Valerie.

It also featured a number of covers including Culture Club's classic Do You Really Want To Love Me?, Wretch 32's Traktor and Ms Dynamite and Katy B playing their track Lights On.

Earlier in the evening Ronson had presented the Brit award for critics' choice with Ellie Goulding to Essex newcomer Jessie J.

He missed out in the only category he was nominated in, best British solo male, to Plan B.

Speaking before he went on stage at the Warchild event Ronson said: "I put a bet on Plan B. Honestly.

"I'm not even saying that as a sore loser. I think he made a great record and I had a feeling he would win."

Boy George, who presented the award at the O2 ceremony, said he had spent most of his evening "autograph hunting" for his niece.

"I didn't get Rihanna, she moved like a cheetah. I didn't get Justin Bieber who was the big prize tonight," he admitted.

"I was a little bit embarrassed."

Ms Dynamite and Katy B said they were happy to be part of the show.

"This is special. We're going to get to do Lights On together," said Ms Dynamite beforehand.

"I saw who won tonight," said Katy B, who wasn't at the Brits ceremony. "I think the people who won deserved it. I'm a big fan of Laura Marling and Cee Lo. Tinie with Pass Out, obviously. Good results this year."

Previous Warchild post-Brits parties have featured appearances from Kasabian, La Roux, Take That, Coldplay and The Killers.
