Inbetweener Simon Bird set for Friday Night Dinner show

Inbetweeners star Simon Bird has been speaking to Newsbeat about the "quirky, surreal" new comedy show he stars in.
Twenty-six-year-old Bird is set to star in Friday Night Dinner, a comedy about two brothers who visit their parents' house for dinner every Friday.
Bird, who plays Will in The Inbetweeners, said the show was "a family comedy but not in the traditional way".
The series starts on Channel 4 at 10pm on Friday 25 February.
It's mostly set in the family home, and sees the two brothers playing childish pranks on each other each Friday night.

"I think this is a different character from my one in the Inbetweeners," Bird explained.
"I'm a bit older, in my early 20s. Of the two brothers I'm the one who's a bit more prissy. So I'm more of a victim.
"It's a family sitcom, but for cool families," he joked.
He also said he expected filming for The Inbetweeners movie to start in the next three weeks.
"The plan is for the film to come out this year, but I don't know whether that's confirmed yet.
"It's going to be a very tight turnaround - we've read the script and it's brilliant so I can't wait to get started," he said.
