The Mobo awards will take place in Glasgow in 2011, 2013 and 2015, organisers have announced.

Having taken place in the city in 2009, the event will be hosted this year's at the city's SECC arena on 5 October.

A host in the past, Alesha Dixon, and newcomer Yasmin helped launch the event, now in its 16th year.

Last year's show, held in Liverpool, saw JLS and Tinie Tempah top the winners list with two prizes each with N-Dubz winning best song.

Fans can register at the official website in order to buy tickets to the awards which recognise artists of any race or nationality performing black music.

Nominations will be revealed later this year.
