The Prodigy have played their biggest ever UK headline gig in Milton Keynes

The Prodigy are to release their first feature film at the end of next month.

World's On Fire is a live movie based around the dance act's Warriors Dance festival gig at Milton Keynes bowl in July last year.

The film will be shown in 70 cinemas across the UK for one night on Thursday 31 March.

In a statement the band said: "Standing on that stage was a truly triumphant feeling for us as the whole place kicked off."

The film has been directed by Paul Dugdale, with the recording of the gig itself engineered by Liam Howlett from the band.

The gig featured some of the band's biggest hits including Breathe, Firestarter, Voodoo People, Out Of Space and Invaders Must Die.

"The night was massive for us," the statement continued.

"It was important to us to bring a proper festival day and night for the people to remember and bring the same intense atmosphere like when we play Brixton Academy and it was."
